Customer Testimonials

"Sue and I attend your equine first aid course a few months ago.
Our 2 year old Jewel caste herself against the outside barn wall tonight ...Because of what I/we learned in your course we were able to get her back on her feet with confidence...."

- Kelly Higgins and Sue Watson

"I recently took the first aid course and I'm so glad I did.  The other night my horse got a nasty wire cut.  It was like going on autopilot - I knew what to do, in what order, and was able to help my horse"

- Sue McGoldrick, Epona Glen Equine

"THANK YOU! I just have to say how much I got out of the course.  I thought I was a pretty savvy horse person but I learned so many great tips and tricks that I feel SO MUCH MORE CONFIDANT in the care of my horse.                                                                                                                                                    - Brad Wisby, Spruce Grove

"I just took your Equine first aid class this past Saturday and I wanted to let you know about what just happened last night.

When I got home from work last night at 9pm I found my appaloosa gelding standing in the corral alone with his head hanging low. When I got to him and checked him over, I found that his eye was swollen shut and tears were running out of it. He couldn’t really move around with confidence since his depth perception was way off, so I’m sure he waited for me for hours to get home. So amazingly, at that moment I knew exactly what to do! Based on what we learned I was completely confident, and he felt my confidence as well and gave himself up completely to me so that I could help him. I flushed his eye with water and held an ice pack to it to the lid to soothe the irritation. He even put his head down to let me help him since he felt my confident energy, he had total faith in me. I did this for about an hour until he could finally open his eye. He spent last night in the barn with his buddies so he couldn’t crash into a fence or tree out in the field because he couldn’t see well enough quite yet.

I know for a fact if I hadn’t taken that course or done all those exercises with actual horses I wouldn’t have known what to do, or worse not had the confidence to actually do what needed to be done! I also know that it was very reassuring to him that I knew what I was doing.

Overall that moment for me and him made the course one of the best investments I have ever made."
