The primary training includes 5 courses - Basic Health and Emergency First Aid, I Can Help - Horse First Aid for Kids, Safety First - the Barn and Beyond, Yay or Neigh - Farm Safe Kids, and First Aid Fundamentals. If students wish to enroll in any of the optional advanced first aid training and take it with their basic instructor training course, please indicate so on the online application form. Additional fees apply.
The primary training course must be taken before any of the optional programs.

Instructor candidates are provided with pre-course study material, then spend three INTENSIVE days of training, with follow up support from senior instructors and the Advisory Board, including veterinarians, farriers and other professionals.
Typical income for teaching the course is $1500++ EACH time you teach! - YOU can earn this income teaching!

Course eligible for continuing education credits under the provincial veterinarian technician associations, for professional development credits with Equestrian Canada, and for favorable equine insurance rates through our partners, Capri and Intercity Insurance. It is fully tax deductible.

Need financing options? Send us an email and one of our financial advisers can assist you in setting up a payment plan for your training! No credit check required, however 1/2 must be received prior to training and payments will be scheduled monthly to a maximum of 4 equal payments. Certification will not be awarded until payment is made in full.
2017 INSTRUCTOR TRAINING - additional dates may be added. Courses are limited in registration and fill up very quickly. The first two dates are basic. Advanced, Disaster Planning, and Safe Trailering are optional and offered to our instructors on a regular basis.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund less a $250.00 cancellation fee will be provided up to 60 days prior to course start date.
After this no refund will be issued, but alternate class dates will be offered.
